DVPEC Air Handler
The Daikin brand DVPEC Multi-Position, Variable-Speed, Inverter-Tuned Air Handler is part of our ComfortNet™ family of communicating units and is designed specifically for use with 18 SEER inverter outdoor equipment. This unit’s ECM indoor blower motor allows for a soft start and stop, offering a quiet, efficient operation while helping to reduce the cold blast of air upon heating start-up.

Installing the correct air handler or evaporator coil is essential for getting the highest level of comfort from your central air conditioning or heat pump system. Air handlers can ramp the motor up and down, regulating the output and ultimately delivering variable airflow and a steady temperature and humidity throughout your home, and can also equip you with exceptional control.
The evaporator coil typically lives on top of a furnace and provides a tremendously important function: as warm air passes over the cold coils, it cools the air, but also removes humidity.
