The Daikin brand AWUF/AWUT Air Handler is designed to be vertically wall- or stud-mounted. This unit features a check flowrater and direct-drive, multi-speed motor. The AWUF/AWUT is housed in a fully insulated, galvanized-steel cabinet.

Installing the correct air handler or evaporator coil is essential for getting the highest level of comfort from your central air conditioning or heat pump system. Air handlers can ramp the motor up and down, regulating the output and ultimately delivering variable airflow and a steady temperature and humidity throughout your home, and can also equip you with exceptional control.
The evaporator coil typically lives on top of a furnace and provides a tremendously important function: as warm air passes over the cold coils, it cools the air, but also removes humidity.
