“Intermittent noise thought to be coming from the furnace, but technician was unable to identify from our recording. He was also unable to recreate or find any problem with the furnace. He did take the time to consult with a plumbing expert, who thought it could be from the well pump, which is in the same vicinity. After he left, we realized that the well pump would probably not have come on in the middle of the night, which is when we last heard and recorded the noise. Only the furnace would have done that, so we’ll have to continue to monitor, but not the technician’s fault.”
